Farmers Markets start March 4

Feb 7: It’s official: The first Concord Farmers Market will open on Sunday March 4 from 9am until 1pm at Cintra Park, off Crane Street in Concord with over twenty stalls  providing quality fruit and vegetables, but other items will also be available including bread, fish, meat, honey and health foods. Good coffee, apple juice and pancakes can be purchased by community shoppers, and the Concord Rotary Club will be selling fresh bacon and egg rolls.

“We expect the stall numbers to at least double as the markets become known,” said a Concord Rotary spokesperson. “Canada Bay Council have supported this initiative and all profits will go towards  Rotary’s community projects.”
