YTT win for Georgia

Feb 22: It’s straight to the semi finals for Croydon Park’s 15 year-old Georgia McCarthy after Young Talent Time’s Tina Arena and  Chucky Klapow judged it a close call but put the Croydon Park songstress first on the night.

Georgia took home her $5,000 heat-winning cash prize on Sunday February 19 and now has six weeks to prepare for her next appearance.

“Everyone did an amazing job on the night, I had such a great time and the whole vibe was amazing. I feel so privileged to have won Heat 4 and also feel that the hard work is starting to pay off,” Georgia told Burwood Scene the morning after her win. “I love my family and friends very much as there are always there supporting me every step of the way. The Young Talent Team are the nicest people you will ever meet and I had such a blast performing in front of such an awesome crowd.”
